HALLOWEEN 2001

Unless you live under a rock or <GASP> don't give a toss about Halloween, you knew that it fell on a Wednesday this year. That gave party-throwers several options when choosing the date for their shindig. As such, I attended a modest total of three Halloween parties this year, excluding Halloween proper (which was spent at a bar, celebrating my sister's 21st birthday). Unfortunately, only two of the parties resulted in photos. Fortunately, the photos I have are pretty funny.

• Deity Party in Tacoma
The costume directive for this party was, "Arrive dressed as your favorite deity." Windy and I went dressed as Valkyries, which arguably demonstrates a very loose interpretation of the word "deity".

• Pirate Party in the U-District
This party was hosted by a large number of the employees of Pirate Software. They live in a large lovely house. There was no theme for this costume party, but we decided it would be funny to dress up as pirates and "board" their party through a window. The results were.... uh.... not as we'd planned.
