Used to be, I moved around so much that anything I planted outside was quickly left to its own devices and died. I couldn't really take anything I planted with me, because we just didn't have the room. I tried planting things in Texas, but without me there to water them in the summer, they didn't stand a chance. And stuff I planted in Alaska never lived through the winter. Although, I did plant some lettuce and some carrots one year, forgot about them, then re-discovered them the next year. They grew a little bit before the neighborhood kids trampled them.
Now that I share a house with Scot and have a yard and all, the things I try to grow have a much higher success rate. In fact, some of the things I grow are downright exuberant.
This page is mainly to document my botanical successes. If you aren't interested in plants, you may want to skip this page. I was never too interested in plants, until I started having success with them. Plants are so rewarding and satisfying when they co-operate. If you're interested, the rose on this page is a St. Patrick, hybrid tea rose; yellow-gold blooms with 30-35 petals.
